Trabajando en mi nueva serie

Aún no está terminado y seguramente saldré con alguna sorpresa como es de esperar ;)

Por lo pronto estoy decidiendo cómo pintar los engranajes espero que los noten.
Siempre me encantó ver el desarrollo de las obras. Espero que disfruten el posteo.

"Matices de las Américas 2010"

Canvas Art for "Matices de las Americas 2010"

The international art exhibition "Matices de Las Americas 2010” (Shades of America 2010) gives a very warm welcome to the countries who share their history and culture. The participating countries are: Argentina, Colombia, Bolivia, Paraguay, Venezuela, Honduras, Guatemala. México, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Perú, Spain, Ecuador, Panamá, Uruguay, Chile, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Ecuatorial Guinea, Belize, and the United States. This will be an unforgettable celebration of colors on canvas! The auction will begin at the opening ceremony on September 15, 2010 at 6:00pm, benefiting the Centro Cultural De La Raza. The bidding will be accepted during the month long exhibition, ending on October 15th, finishing off with the closing ceremony. We anticipate the art pieces to be taken home with their new owners. In addition the auction can be followed via Internet. Our vision has been to celebrate the bicentennial of the Independence of Mexico, the Centennial of the Mexican Revolution, Hispanic Heritage Month, El Dia De La Raza and 40 years of the foundation of the Centro Cultural de La Raza. We appreciate the highly valued sponsorship of the General Consulate of Mexico in San Diego and Project Maac (Metropolitan Area Advisory on Anti-Poverty Committee).

Exposición de Arte / Art Exhibition

Como lo anticipé, estaré participando con mucho orgullo en esta exposición

Del 15 de septiembre al 15 de octubre la ciudad de San Diego (California) será sede de la Exposición Internacional de Arte MATICES DE LAS AMÉRICAS 2010, realizada por la organización TALENTO HISPANO en las instalaciones del emblemático CENTRO CULTURAL DE LA RAZA. Con obras de destacados artistas de 21 países, incluyendo los fundadores de The Chicano Art Movement (USA) y el colectivo de artistas representantes de Talento Hispano y bajo la dirección y curaduría de la artista Marisol De Las Casas, se intenta dar cuenta del acontecer de la plástica contemporánea latinoamericana por medio de un diálogo dinámico que subraya el rol del artista en el “rescate ancestral” de su cultura.

From September 15^th to October 15th, San Diego (California) will host the International Art Exhibition MATICES DE LAS AMERICAS 2010 by Hispanic talent in the organization's flagship facilities CENTRO CULTURAL DE LA RAZA. With works by prominent artists from twenty one countries, including the founders of The Chicano Art Movement (USA) and the collective of artists and representatives of ‘Talento Hispano’ under the direction and curate by the artist Marisol De Las Casas and prominent artist, Mario Torero. This exhibition’s effort is to account for the occurrence of contemporary Latin American visual arts through a dynamic dialogue that emphasizes the role of the artist in the “ancestral rescue “of their culture.

Novedades!

Tengo que admitir que estoy un poco desaparecida.

No es por falta de trabajo sino todo lo contrario!

1) Como les anticipé con anterioridad estoy con el arte de tapa del disco de "Algo de Más".

2) Felizmente fui seleccionada para representar la cultura nativa Argentina en San Diego, California. Por fin recibí la invitación formal! Así que como diría Cerati: Alla Vamos!

3) Otra Alegría: Mi arte canino saldrá publicado en la revista "OhMyDog!"

It's not that I have nothing to work on, but quite the opposite!

1)As I mentioned before, I am working on the CD cover for the band Algo de Mas

2)I have been selected to represent Argentina a LAtin cultural center in San Diego, California. I finally got the invitation yesterday!

3)Another good news: My dog art is going to be published in "OhMyDog!" magazine.

4) I have enrolled in Claudio Roncoli's workshop. I am sharing a link to his site because you can't miss his work! I have been a fan for a long time and cannot wait to work with him.

4) Estoy anotada en el "Taller de Obra" de Claudio Roncoli. Les dejo el vínculo porque no pueden dejar de conocer el trabajo de este artista. Hace tiempo lo vengo siguiendo y estoy muy ansiosa por ser su alumna : )

Creando para "Algo de Más"

La banda líderada por Fernando Sepúlveda, ex bajista de Kudai, junto con Cuchu Dallasta y Ruben Olveda está por lanzar su nuevo álbum producido por Alejandro Taranto.

Tengo el privilegio no sólo de trabajar con ellos sino de escuchar los temas antes que nadie. Con el background de los tres integrantes y su talento les puedo asegurar que el disco será explosivo!
